UCF announces new lab at the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences in Lake Nona

UCF announced its new research lab at a press conference Friday, which will help researchers develop discoveries in the healing power of light and sound.   Located at the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences in Lake Nona, the lab consists of a merge between UCF's Colleges of Optics and Photonics and College of Medicine. Spin scooter accidents raise concerns for students

Scooter accidents are a rising concern for UCF students, since there are no respective paths for walkers/riders and scooters are parked in non-designated areas.Amanda Sellers, UCF public safety communications manager, said via email that 19 scooter accidents were reported to UCFPD in 2023, the most since they have been introduced to campus.
